Najnovije najave igara Company of Heroes: Opposing FrontsTHQ je objavio da developer Relic Entertainment radi na ekspanziji za igru Company of Heroes. Radi se o novom poglavlju u real-time strategiji (RTS) nazvanom Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts. Igra će doneti bitke poput oslobođenja Caena u Francuskoj s Britanskom vojskom i borbe Njemačke vojske s najvećim zračnim napadom u povesti. Takođe tu će biti i novi multiplayer modovi s dvije nove vojske. Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts će izaći za PC krajem ove godine. Heroes of Might & Magic V: Tribes of the EastUbisoft je objavio da developer Nival Interactive radi na novoj ekspanziji za igru Heroes of Might & Magic V. Radi se o novoj ekspanziji nazvanoj Heroes of Might & Magic V: Tribes of the East koja će sadržavati novu Orc rasu, novu kampanju, nove levele nadogradnje, kao i nove magije, artifakte, građevine i dr. TOMB RAIDER:ANNIVERSARYEvo PREVIEWA Lara Croft nije samo prevazišla igru koja ju je stvorila, nego i video igre kao medijum. Ona je danas svetska kulturološka ikona, koja kroz prethodnu deceniju svojim prisustvom upražnjava sve od sveta filma do modne fotografije, te predstavlja prvu pravu trodimenzionalnu heroinu, kao i virtualni seks simbol. Lara je kroz sedam nastavaka video igre, dve filmske ekranizacije, nekoliko stripova, promenu razvojnog tima, prešla dugačak put od devojačkih dana do misteriozne smrti, živeći jednu avanturu za drugom, dinamično, uzbudljivo, neprestano na ivici života i smrti, te spada u retku grupu junaka sa tako raskošnom karijerom. Većina igra iz serijala stekla je svoj komercijalni i kritički uspeh, ali najveći uticaj imala je originalna igra iz 1996. godine, Tomb Raider, kada je ova vitka, ženstvena, fizički i emotivno jaka figura doživela svoj debi na tada revolucionarnoj PlayStation konzoli. Izdavački tim Eidos svestan ove višegodišnje popularnosti (u neku ruku i nostalgije) odlučio je da, na radost mnogih fanova, prvu jubilarnu desetogodišnjicu proslavi modernom reinkarnacijom Tomb Raider prvenca, igre koja je prodata u više od 7 miliona primeraka, te postala nezvanična PS1 ikona. Rimejk originala, podnaslova Anniversary, po svim izgledima nije jednostavan port sa novom "šminkom". Razvojni tim Crystal Dynamics tvrdi da će igra sadržati osnovnu priču, zaplet, sve nivoe i ključne momente iz prve igre, ali u toj meri da služi kao oslonac novoj, svežoj strukturi izvođenja, koja je prilagođena složenijim Larinim sposobnostima. Iako će nova igra sadržati osnovne strukturalne elemente originala, Eidos neprestano ističe da će povratak u Larinu prošlost biti potpuno novo iskustvo. Real-time demonstracijama (trenutno jedino na PS2 konzoli) predstavljeni su kadrovi i delovi nivoa Egipta i Perua, po kojima se vide neke od radikalnih promena u odnosu na original. Zemlja Faraona i dalje sadrži prašnjave lavirinte, kao i peščane katakombe, ali ovoga puta u dosta grandioznijem izdanju. Grad Khamoon, koji je pre 11 godina prelažen gotovo za tren oka, sada (svojim upečatljivim i gotovo nesagledivim građevinama, kao i zupčastim mehanizmima) čak i od najiskusnijeg igrača zahteva minimalno sat vremena za pronalazak samo jednog od četiri ključa potrebnih za prelazak primarnog objektiva. Krivac tome jesu mnogobrojna zagonetna rešenja, koja ispunjavaju gotovo svaku prostoriju, kao i drugačiji pristup prolaska kroz nivoe, koji zahtevaju aktiviranje poluga i prekidača horizontalno i vertikalno razbacanih po arheološko-monstruoznim građevinama. Napredak tehnologije donosi sa sobom mnoštvo opcija za nadogradnju i proširenje, te nekadašnji „tri koraka u nazad i skok“ gameplay sada je već prošlost. Interakcija glavnog lika sa okolinom podrazumeva proračune koji podležu zakonima fizike, a to je propraćeno odličnim sistemom kamere, fluidnom animacijom i kontrolama, te većim osećajem slobode. Lara, iako detaljnije modelovana, nekim od svojih primarnih fizičkih atributa i dalje podseća na prvobitni model. Plavičasto uska majica, kao i khaki šorc i dalje su sastavni deo garderobe, mada akrobatske sposobnosti više odgovaraju naprednom Tomb Raider Legend modelu. Sve animacije Legend modela dorađene su i upotpunjene novim pokretima, kao što su balansiranje i skakutanje po vertikalnim i horizontalnim stubovima, te trčanje zidovima i njihanje uz pomoć užeta (koje ovaj puta nije magnetno, već radi na principu kuke). Pravi fanovi će sigurno pozdraviti opciono isključivanje autograb-on funkcije (dozvoljava automatsko hvatanje Lare za oštre površine), koje nije bilo prisutno pre 11 godina. Pored svega, razvojni tim će implementirati interaktivne cut-scene (predstavljene u prethodnoj Legend igri), a najavljeno je i otklanjanje svetlucavih signala koji su pomagali prilikom lociranja predmeta. Po svemu navedenom, jasno je da Anniversary neće biti ni sličan niti lak zalogaj, čak i za one koji su originalnu igru već odavno apsolvirali. Mada nije planirana za next-generation konzole (barem ne za sada), igra izgleda prelepo na svim platformama – PS2, PSP i PC. Naprednija verzija Legend endžina potpuno oživljava rekreirane Tomb Raider arheološke predele, koje je Crystal Dinamycs do sad predstavio, gde moderna grafička rešenja, poput specular dust particles, light bloom, real-time i self shadow mapping, bude nostalgiju u punom sjaju. Primetna je i odlična implementacija dinamičkog zvuka, gde se zvučni efekti i muzika prilagođavaju trenutnim dramskim ili akcionim elementima. U odnosi na PC platformu, konzolna verzija podrazumeva grafičku degradaciju, međutim, jasno je da izdašno koristi sve resurse ove previous-generation tehnologije. Iako je datum izlaska planiran za maj 2007. godine, Anniversary je iz neobjavljenih razloga pomeren za jun mesec i time prodrmao nestrpljive igrače, ali ne i njihovo ogromno poverenje u ovaj naslov. Eidos Interactive i Crystal Dynamics su firme veteranskog kova i sigurno ne prepuštaju ništa slučaju, jer žele u potpunosti evocirati uspomene, te ponovo vratiti Laru njenim korenima. Koračaju dobrim putem, poluge se povlače, poslednje prepreke se preskaču i završni proizvod je na domak ruke. Nadajmo se da jun mesec donosi konačnu polaznu tačku, koja (u najpotpunijem obliku) vraća drskost, smelost i odlučnost „dame“ koja je pisala prve redove TPA avantura. Edit:preuzeto sa www.pcigre.com

Rogue Warrior is a story-driven shooter that provides team-based tactical combat set in massive, contiguous levels using Unreal 3 streaming technology. Central to the game's single and multiplayer experience is the idea of a freeform battlefield, where players are given the freedom to choose how to complete a given objective, allowing for creativity and surprises, rather than heavily scripted events and tightly contained spaces traditionally used in this genre.
An advanced AI system allows NPCs to react and fight realistically, see and hear others, and respond as a team. Rogue Warrior offers a new take on the multiplayer experience, with 10 gameplay modes and a system whereby maps are created using tiles that are selected by each team. Rogue Warrior's tiling system allows users to experience over 200 maps in both day and nighttime settings. In addition, the campaign features solo and on-the-fly cooperative play for up to four players, where anyone can join or leave an existing campaign game at any time without having to go to menus or save progress.
In Rogue Warrior, you play Dick Marcinko, leader of an elite SEAL unit trapped behind enemy lines in North Korea on a covert mission to assess the threat posed by North Korea’s nuclear arsenal. When war breaks out between North and South Korea, you must try to lead your team back into South Korea while greatly outnumbered and with no support and limited resupply. Your journey will take you through a variety of never-before-seen environments inside of North Korea, including submarine pens, shipbreaker yards, prison camps, and more.

Priblizava nam se neverovatna igra... Najavljena za maj, sto znaci da je mozemo ocekivati uskoro... Ova igra koju pravi 10tacle Studios ce koristiti najmocniji engine danasnjice, Unreal 3 Engine. Borba u igri je fantasticna i najvise podseca na Leonidu u slowmotionu iz filma 300. Grafika ze takodje biti vrlo dobra, s' obzirom na tehnicke mogucnosti U3 engina... Sve u svemu, ja licno polazem mnogo nade u ovu igru...

EMPIRE EARTH III
Conquering the world is a lot of work, as many strategy players have learned over the years. In 2005's Empire Earth II, that task got really complicated, as the game featured an incredible amount of civilizations, technologies, units, and options. Realizing that its creation had gotten a bit too out of control, Mad Doc is now working on a more streamlined and stylized Empire Earth, one that keeps the strategic depth while being easier and friendlier to play.

Evo najave Secreda 2 jos jedne RPG igre,koja obecava:
About two years ago, when we were still playing classics like Neverwinter Nights, Fable (Xbox) and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, a rather unexpected game surfaced, from Ascaron Entertainment and Encore Software. It was called Sacred, and it arrived just in the nick of time, making for a solid refreshment on the PC RPG scene. Sacred was widely admired for its straightforward gameplay and its huge in-game world players were allowed to adventure in. Beyond the usual hack'n'slash routine, the game featured a unique choice of character classes and it allowed you to explore around 70% of the existing world (right from the outset).
Sacred 2: Fallen Angel boasts major changes after its predecessor. This time around, the developers decided to move away from the time-honored isometric perspective, fitting the game into highly detailed 3D surroundings. Still, it was revealed that Sacred 2 is pretty much an action-RPG at heart (as it was before). When it comes to the in-game world, many things are different and so are the characters and races that dwell in it. Accordingly, a whole bunch of brand new character classes will be on offer. For the present, only the mighty angel-like Seraphim see a certain return in Sacred 2. Whether we'll actually see a comeback for classes like the Dark Elf, Vampiress, Wood Elf, Gladitor and others, remains to be seen.
Sacred 2 continues in the same setting. A long time ago, an extremely potent force known as T Energy served as the main source of power throughout Ancaria. Supervising this power, the angelic Seraphim turned to the High Elves, in the hope of sharing the knowledge and the magical power. Unlike the Seraphim, who were strong-minded and resilient, the High Elves showed turned out too weak to control this power and they entered a massive deep-rooted internal conflict. Following the outbreak of this great High Elf civil war, other groups and races soon wanted to seize the power and use it to their own advantage. As the conflict widened, the essence of T Energy got corrupted, which unleashed a devastating blow throughout the land. Many creatures mutated, realms and cities crumbled, and the spirits of good withered away.
As opposed the previous game, Sacred 2 features crucial moral choices throughout the experience. The Seraphim class is a good example for this. Though once benevolent, this race has been severely influenced by evil. This, of course, has a tremendous effect on their armor, weapons and fighting style. Hence, if you decided to play as the Seraphim, you'll be able to alter everything from weaponry and a wide array of armor, to the shape and size of your might wings. The alignment you have chosen also determines how NPCs look upon your character - to the NPCs, you can either be a friend or a foe. It all depends on whether the player prefers a dark or light personality. Actually, a lot in the game depends on your will and the choices they you make along the way. In addition to that, spells, skills and various combat moves can be developed freely and may also be customized via a tree-based system.
Other aspects of the game include the usual RPG elements. As you'd normally expect, interacting with NPCs is an important feature. Conversing with other characters opens to road to new quests, side-quests and trade. Of course, as you progress, certain NPCs will gradually reveal segments of the main storyline. The good news is that the game's doesn't require players to follow the plot strictly, thus heading down a predetermined path. At any time, you are allowed to take a detour from the main quest to find out what new adventures await.
By the way, not all creatures and characters in the game are friendly. As you travel around completing quests and meeting new faces, you'll discover plenty of baddies laying in wait. For the most part you may expect to run into skeleton warriors, zombies, goblins, trolls, scorpions and others. You know, the traditional welcoming comity in almost any fantasy setting.
For the time being, Sacred 2: Fallen Angels is kept strictly under wraps. Nonetheless, we were quite happy with what was shown to us so far. The narrative seems fairly promising, the artwork is excellent and the characters and enemies, displayed in some of the recently released trailers, were animated brilliantly. Apart from featuring a highly detailed environment and impressive looking character models, the game has other effects such as day and night cycles (which have become a must in most RPGs nowadays). Granted, Sacred 2 is in early stages of development, but currently seems to fit the description of a decent action RPG. It is comforting to know that rather talented people are behind the project. As it happens, Ascaron was able to secure help from veteran game designer Bob Bates (mostly recognized for his involvement with Unreal II: The Awakening), which will no doubt have a positive influence on the development process.
We were also intrigued by Ascaron's quest editor pre-release that's going to grant a small number of fans to pour out their creativity by designing a few side-quests. Those who end up creating side-quests, will be credited in the full version of the game. It's definitely nice to see that some developers honestly care about ideas and suggestions coming straight from the community. On top of that, it also makes room for an in-depth narrative. And it will be interesting to behold the results when the full version arrives on the market. But alas, for that we're going to have to wait until Q1 2008, which is the projected release date.

TRANSFORMERS: The Game
Ova igra bi trebala da izadje u Junu (paralelno sa filmom)... To sto je igra po filmu je ustvari glavni problem, jer igre po filmu najcesce ispadnu ocajno...
Igra je bazirana na filmu a igrač će moći da izabere da li će spašavati Zemlju vodeći jednog od Autobota ili pokušavati da uništi istu igrajući kao jedan od Deseptikona. Igra će biti vrsta akcione avanture a na razvoju za PC, XBox 360, PS3, PS2, Nintendo Wii radi Traveller’s Tales dok verziju za PSP razvija Savage. Za Nintendo DS prenosnu konzolu će postojati 2 podverzije igre, Transformers: Autobots i Transformers: Decepticons na čijem razvoju radi Vicarious Visions. Igra bi se trebala naći u prodaji tokom leta 2007.
Ako igra ispadne lose, film izgleda nece (bar kol'ko sam video po trailer-ima)...
